【Students on campus only】[Workshop] CTR Writing Café 2026

公開日 2026.05.26

Flyer (Download/PDF file)

The Center for Tourism Research (CTR) at Wakayama University has held several workshops for students and young researchers. This year, we will also hold a series of on-campus-only workshops on the theme of “Writing Academic Papers”.

Writing an academic paper is a core activity for presenting research outcomes. However, it involves technical aspects, and mastering them on your own is not easy. Even with the necessary knowledge, enhancing productivity can be challenging; this is the reason why Silvia (2019) recommended researchers establish a habit of writing at fixed times within one's routine and create/participate in supportive working groups. Therefore, the purpose of this event is to improve participants' productivity in academic writing by providing both (1) principles for academic writing, and (2) opportunities to develop writing habits.

This workshop will be held in the second quarter of 2026, on Mondays, 0:30 pm ~ 2:40 pm (3rd period) in 6 sessions in total. Please refer to the schedule below for details.

There is no registration fee, but please register below to attend.

We look forward to the participation of our undergraduate and graduate students who are working on academic papers

*Please note that the lecture for this workshop will be conducted in Japanese, but the slides will be in both Japanese and English. Questions and answers may be asked in either Japanese or English.
